To the person who reads this blog...surely there is at least one of you out there...my apologies for the delay in producing more frequent posts. This past week will have hopefully given me enough mental posits for at least two posts (plus an upcoming one on a recent family camping trip). Since its been a while since I've done any tomfoolery, hijinx, and shenaniganry with the GoPro I decided it was high time to remedy such a void. And whats more? Finally the GoPro's water capabilities have been put to the test.
I caught some interesting test footage with my good buddies Bret and Vince while vacationing in the Outer Banks (or OBX for those familiar with the native tongue) down in Duck, North Carolina. Second only to having fun making the videos and enjoying the endless supply of sunshine, the camera hardware survived its inaugural tribulations in an aqueous environment...oh and me dropping it several times (a Water "Fowl"...ba dum pshhh *shakes head in shame*).
In my next post I will share some of the few pictures I took from our vacation and ramble on a little more about our Duck Tales (I crack myself up) but for now and without further adieu...I present the roughly hewn GoPro Water Test..."brought to you in part by sand...its everywhere." -Bret Cullinan '08
P.S. The 4:00 mark is the start of a pretty gnarly dive shot
