Theodore Roosevelt: North Unit - Scouting Mission

Well I am 8 hours from boarding a ferry to Alaska....

I've since been to two more parks, to include Theodore Roosevelt and North Cascades National Parks. I will not be bringing with my computer with me to Alaska so this will be the last post for over a month.

I have so much to say about Theodore Roosevelt National Park but I simply don't have the time (sound like a broken record yet?). So here are some teaser pictures of my experience.

I am beginning to see a pattern along this trip. The scenery is untouchable and mesmerizing but its the people that I meet that make the story. Anywho, not much time to get ready for the next leg of the adventure so here are some of the scenes from Theodore Roosevelt...the most expectation shattering park so far. A mile away from the park entrance and anything that migh resemble something of National Park worthiness was out of site. Turning the corner on highway 85 and out of no where...BOOM! Bluffs that stretch well beyond the horizon! Where did that come from!? The pictures below are of the route to the park and of my first night there.

Oh also...I'll get into this more later but I've been bestowed the honor of an "Official Bumbler," a title that I hold with pride. To find out more about what I am talking about, check out my new found friends and fellow Bumblers, on the Bumble About website at bumbleabout.net. Also, you should highly consider trying some of their honey...this isn't just honey, its nature's candy! It was a life saver out in the North Cascades!
